Who We Are

Our Vision

Our vision is to be a catalyst for systemic change in the lives of teen parents and their children by not only what we do, but how we do it. For us, the means is as important as the end result. Breaking the cycle of disadvantage that teen childbearing perpetuates through a holistic, coordinated community system of support sums up the end result, and the means by which we plan to achieve it. Our promise is to build bridges to brighter futures for parenting teens and their children. Creating a model of support that can be replicated in other communities is part of our vision.

The Center for Healthy Families, Inc. was formed as a 501 (C )(3) not-for-profit organization in 2007. Our purpose is to break the cycle of disadvantage that teen childbearing perpetuates through a holistic, coordinated system of community support.
